Title: Negative Silhouettes, Throwing Shadows
Characters: Booth/Brennan; Angela makes a few appearances; very short cameos by others
Rating: PG-13
Length: ~22,00 words (!)
Spoilers: Everything up to 5.05 “A Night at the Bones Museum,” mostly from late season 4 and season 5.
Summary: How Temperance Brennan fell in love with Seeley Booth; a step-by-step evolution.
Disclaimer: Not mine. The characters are the creations of Kathy Reichs, Hart Hanson, and Fox, brought to life by the wonderful Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz. I’m just taking them out for a spin.
Author’s Notes: Let’s take the stance that Booth is the one who knows (4.21 “Mayhem on the Cross”) -- I’m trying to work through this from Brennan’s angle; her being in denial, her not realizing her feelings, and how after the coma they finally figure it all out. Mainly this is an excuse to whittle the show down to its molten core of UST and write a story about all the last two minutes of the episodes. Inspired by the beautiful song “Dance me to the End of Love,” written by Leonard Cohen and sung, in my head, by Madeleine Peyroux.
Author’s Notes (2): There’s a strong chance this wasn’t edited… enough? So any glaring errors, or anything that seems… ridiculous, let me know. Constructive criticism is always appreciated!
Author's Notes (3): I don't know what's going on but 2 hours of trying to post something is my limit, apologies for the messed up formatting issues.

The other story I wrote is actually preseries, but only by minutes.

Title: Nothing Left To Take (5/?)
Characters: Sara, LJ, Susan B. Anthony
Rating: PG-13
Length: 1,130 words
Spoilers: 3.03 "Call Waiting" and 3.04 "Good Fences"
Summary: AU. What really happened to Sara and LJ?
Disclaimer: Everything herein based on creations by Paul Scheuring,
A/N: Feedback is welcome, particularly because this is unbeta’d. And I may have started writing this chapter in the past tense while the others were in the present (which, I don’t know why I did that in the first place).
I never post twice in one day. Except for when I have to finish a chapter of one thing and post it because I said I wouldn't post anything else until I posted that first. *g*
Title: Definition of Domestication
Rating: PG
Fandom: The West Wing
Characters: Josh/Donna (established)
Length: 600 words
Summary: A post-series snippet of life.
I am the worst at updating. Granted, I have been terribly busy of late. And my muse, she has abandoned me. But still! Where's the fire? I can tell you where it is not, and that is under my ass. So... someone go grab me some matches. And some charcoal. And lighter fluid. Maybe a coupla dura-logs or whatever the hell they are.
What is this in regards to? Weeeeell, I posted a few chapters of a multi-chaptered fic (Weeks... months ago?) and I swear I intend to finish it. I really do. And I will. I swear. I am not writing anything else until it is completed. But I felt the need to come here and say it, you know, shout it into the plumbless depths of the ev0l web so that I'd sort of have to back it up. With actual product. Plus, if anyone started reading it, I didn't want you to get discouraged the way I do when I start a WIP that trails off into nothingness.
And... that's really all I had to say. Oh! and I haven't watched TV on an actual television set in ages, but I really miss it. A lot. In a strange, creep-o, I fall in love with fictional characters and can't get them out of my head kind of way. You know what I mean.
Hope everyone's new year is off to a splendid beginning! auld lang syne!
i found a prison break ficlet on my hard drive from... last year? it's AU and frivolous but i figured, since the good times have gone, i might as well roll with it.
